Evaluated among Top vendors in the Big Data Search and Knowledge Discovery Solutions Report
Linz, Austria, October 08, 2015 – Mindbreeze, a leading company in the big data and enterprise search industries, was among the selected companies that Forrester invited to participate in its September 24, 2015 evaluation, The Forrester Wave™: Big Data Search and Knowledge Discovery Solutions, Q3 2015*. In this evaluation, Mindbreeze was named as a Strong Performer for its appliance Mindbreeze InSpire.
Forrester noted that Mindbreeze is search’s best kept secret in the search appliance sector. Aside from Google, Mindbreeze is the only vendor that offers a search appliance. However, it also makes that appliance available as a hosted-cloud solution to customers who don’t wish to manage the appliance in their own data center. Mindbreeze offers features comparable to the Leaders in this report.
Mindbreeze was named a Strong Performer among nine vendors evaluated in the Forrester report. Forrester chooses these vendors based on a multi-level evaluation process, after examining past research, user need assessments, and vendor and expert interviews. To evaluate the vendors and their products against a set of criteria, Forrester gathers details about product qualifications through a combination of lab evaluations, questionnaires, demos, and/or discussions with client references.
“Big data plays a key role in today’s business world, and companies who want to remain competitive must meet the issue head-on in their daily business and illuminate information,” said Mindbreeze founder and CEO Daniel Fallmann. “Sustainable, intelligent handling of information is becoming more and more critical to success. Our Mindbreeze InSpire appliance is a leading-edge product that benefits companies immediately. We are very proud to be positioned as a Strong Performer.”
The European search appliance Mindbreeze InSpire quickly and extensively gathers information from both internal data sources and cloud applications for company-wide access. Its semantic correlations ensure quick and easy access to the entire enterprise information world. It thus gives users a thorough overview of a given subject, be it a business case, customer, or product, through semantic analyses, intelligent search queries, and an algorithm to prioritize the search results.
