Analyze your data intelligently

In the wake of digitalization, companies are accumulating an ever-increasing amount of information in various programs, databases, and archives – information that can be linked, analyzed, and processed accordingly to achieve tangible competitive advantages.

Intelligent tools can reduce the operational expenditure that arises from the staff’s day-to-day search for data and facts over the long term and support employees in their everyday work.

By employing methods from the fields of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning, insight engines gather existing corporate knowledge, cull and extract facts, and show correlations among the individual pieces of information to provide a comprehensive picture.

Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Natural Language Question Answering (NLQA) can already answer questions like “when”, “who”, “where”, and even “why”. These technologies are capable of correctly analyzing and understanding both structured metadata and unstructured data such as text content, and can recognize human language and correctly determine the user’s needs.

Rather than spitting out an endless list of potential hits, the output contains the actual queried information, enhanced by context-specific supplementary information.

The results of the search queries are summarized in a knowledge database, a so-called index, which is readily accessible and optimized for these specific use cases. This means that no duplicates of the information are generated – the data can remain in its original location while still being available in its entirety via the index. Users can navigate through the hits faster using the preview function and no longer have to open individual applications and programs to search them for the information they’re looking for.

The powerful link connecting the individual applications, departments, organizational levels, and business units makes it possible for the right person (with the respective access rights) to access and process the required data in the right context at the right time. This accelerates and optimizes internal search processes and information delivery, and allows employees to do their work more efficiently instead of spending hours searching for information from different applications, departments, and other sources.
