What to Consider for your Insight Engine Rollout: Validate the ROI Calculation

In part two of the blog series, defining the success criteria was discussed. One of the key parameters for a company to determine within that step was ROI calculation.

The final part of the blog series on what to consider for your insight engine rollout will focus on validating the ROI calculation.

If you need a refresher, you can view the previous four parts to the five-part series below:

Step Five: Validate the ROI Calculation

So, you identified the use case, defined the success criteria, did hands-on testing, and involved the users?

Suppose all of these steps went according to plan and the test results were satisfactory. In that case, you are ready to transition to the live operation and finally meet your information insight goals. Another reason why using actual company data was important is because the settings from the proof of concept (POC) can be directly transferred into the rollout.

With the insight engine implemented for your initial use case and launched within a department successfully, expanding the solution throughout more functional areas and potentially the entire enterprise is achievable.

When an insight engine is used correctly, the company performance can skyrocket. Repetitive business processes are automated, understanding of your customers and competition is increased, efficiency is improved, and employee satisfaction is through the roof.

Are you thinking of implementing AI-based processes to let your data do wonders for you? We made you a checklist to summarize the blog series.

  1. What is the specific problem (the use case)?
  2. What is the objective? What do you want to achieve?
  3. Where is your data located?
  4. What do your users think of the solution? Are improvements necessary?
  5. Have you achieved your targets (ROI)?
