GenAI Confidence Index shows promising increase in confidence for GenAI implementation especially amongst top executives

The vast majority of the C-suite (81 percent) have high confidence in implementing GenAI across their company, according to the 1H 2025 GenAI Confidence Index Report provided by Mindbreeze.  

 

Top findings from the report

Insight: Enterprise Confidence Outpaces Smaller Organizations

  • Enterprises show the highest confidence at 76 percent, compared to 69 percent for large companies and 61 percent for medium-sized firms.
  • Larger organizations may see clearer pathways for leveraging GenAI to address challenges, aided by better resources and strategic vision.

Insight: Generational Divide in Confidence

  • Confidence is highest among the 31-40 age group at 65 percent, with a steady decline to 40 percent among those aged 60+.
  • Younger professionals' strong confidence suggests they may be more attuned to the benefits and usability of GenAI.

Insight: Customer Service is a Key Priority

  • Customer Service emerges as the top focus across management levels, with 14.5 percent of C-suite respondents prioritizing it, followed closely by 13.4 percent of middle management.
  • This indicates a strong alignment of GenAI applications with customer engagement and support strategies.

Insight: Most Companies Plan GenAI Implementation Within 6 Months

  • A combined 50 percent of respondents indicated plans to implement GenAI within 3-6 months (30 percent) or 1-2 months (20 percent).
  • Immediate implementation remains low at 10 percent, highlighting cautious but proactive mindsets.
